Conditions for Eligibility for Free Burial in the Cemetery
A person who died in an area within the jurisdiction of Hevra Kadish (except for hospitals, which are in the area, but are not included in the arrangement with Hevra Kadisha), or who lived in the area at the time of his death, is entitled to burial in Sde Yehoshua Cemetery free of charge in a Sanhedrin (multi-tier) burial, or in a family plot in a family-couple burial when the spouse or another family member buys the upper part of the grave.
The prices are affected by the type of approval (density/exceptional) determined for the plot by the National Insurance Institute.
Sanhedrin (Multi-Tier) Burial
For a deceased resident of the area – free of charge.
For a living person, the prices are affected by density in the cemetery and a discount for a spouse buried in the same plot.

Top Burial
NIS 2,000 for a deceased person – consent of all of the family members is required.
If the purchase is made while the person is living, the calculation will be according to the difference in the price list between single burial and family-couple burial, according to the plot.
